DIY: Twin Vase

Have a nice week everyone!

Let me confess, I cheated. This project was made a long time ago and was already published on another blog. Yet, all the work is mine and the other blog was also mine :) So no copyright issues. I will transfer some of my old projects from that blog then I will delete it. This would be the reason if you have seen some of these photos somewhere else before.

I was inspired for this project by another Turkish blogger here. The original style with seashells and hydrangeas was much more my type but I had to use green tones to make it suitable for my living room.

I have used two different sizes of bell glasses, white and green sands, green colored rocks and some artificial flowers. I actually wanted the flowers to be hydrangeas but I could not find artificial ones to buy and alive ones are not sold in Turkey at all. People grow them up in their gardens but due to the climate, their flowers do not last very long in my region.

diy vase, twin vase,

diy vase, twin vase,

I did not forget to drop a little evil eye into the vase of course. It is a very common in Turkey to use evil eyes on anywhere possible.

Hope you like it. There may actually be many more ideas to put into the vases like beads or ornaments. I am sure you will come up with great ideas. Anyone?

Love,
